Meet Niko
Who I am
Hi, I’m Niko, President of MCA. I came to accounting from education and social work, so I explain money in plain-language, listen well, and leave judgment at the door. After the pandemic, I trained in accounting and business management, joined my family’s firm, and worked under a veteran tax CPA. In 2024, I took over our family firm. You’ll work directly with me and a small team I trust. I answer quickly and keep things moving.
Why health & wellness
Health comes first. I want my work to support a healthy life and the people who make that possible. I keep your numbers steady so you can focus on care.
When you need more than me
If something is outside my lane, I’ll say so early, bring in a specialist I’d trust with my own business, and stay involved so the handoff is smooth.
A Process You Understand
You don't have to speak accounting.
We start where you are and make the next step clear.
1. Intake & Review
You fill out a short intake. I review how you have been keeping track of your money.
These “books” include your bank, credit card, and loan accounts, your invoicing system, and your most recent tax return.
This gives me a clear picture of what is going on.
2. Assessment & Plan
I tell you what I see. I point out what looks fine, what worries me, and what needs to change.
That can include:
-
Getting past months caught up and corrected. This is called accounting cleanup.
-
Setting up monthly money tracking going forward. This is called monthly bookkeeping.
3. Ongoing Care
Once the numbers are in good shape, I file your tax returns and keep your money tracking up to date each month.
Over time, this means fewer surprises and clearer decisions throughout the year.
